As Australia's construction sector strives to minimise defects in buildings, Mecca will convene industry thought leaders for a one day summit in Sydney to unpack the key issues.
The summit will explore the key areas that continue to impact the building sector including training, building design, structural design, building envelope design, innovative materials, waterproofing and condensation, options for prefabrication, services and maintenance.
The program features keynote presentations, project case studies and panel discussions spanning facade and roofing designs, building material specifications, remedial repairs, maintenance considerations and an open forum session.
Attendees will gain insight into the key steps to take to ensure projects are designed to be delivered free of defects with a focus on good practice as well as designing for compliance. The problems have been identified. The summit will be about solutions.
Can’t make it on the day? Interstate guests or others that can't attend live can purchase a recording of the event and stream from your Mecca account and still receive your CPD points.
